So iv been working on a way to balance Age of Sigmar while keeping the spirit of the game alive. So you agree on total warscrolls and then use the following chart to see what the MAXIMUM number of models you can take in the warscroll you selected. The minimum number in the warscroll always supersedes the minimum listed here but it means the unit can't take any larger number of models than their minimum listed number. 

The formula that i used was 100/(Attacks*wounds+armor save (count down 6+ is a 1 and 4+ is a 3)+rend value+movement over 8) For lower than 6 warscrolls reduce the formula to 50/. Heroes are restricted to 3 per warscroll (every 3rd warscroll can be a hero). And monsters are restricted to 1 per 4 warscrolls (every 4th warscroll can be a monster). Monsters who are also Heroes and vice versa are restricted to 1 per 6 warscrolls. All feed back is welcome and any play test results would be great!

Hobby Post #1- Updating Goblin Spider-riders

Updating Goblin Spider-riders is a risky endeavor, their legs are spindly and fragile. I think out of the 6 I have completed i broke maybe 3 or 4 legs in total cutting and trimming but i figured if anyone out there wants a bit more unique pose to their spiders id put this up as my blog for the day.

Here you can see images of the stock spider-riders spiders, they are pretty static and even though their abdomens have unique detail their legs make them all look like the same model.

And here are the 5 i have been working on today making them a bit more of spider poses. Each has their own feel and pose.

Step One: CAREFULLY can not stress this enough i cut into my finger twice doing this, Carefully run a sharp hobby knife down the separation in the legs until you meet resistance.  Follow the curve of the legs down to the body, repeat this step on all four clusters of legs. You should end up with 8 nicely separated legs.

Step Two: Trim the legs of mold lines and the newly formed seems from splitting the legs.

Step Three: Soak the mini in some warm water from the tap in a cup or plastic container you wont be using for food because the plastic can leech into the container. After about 60 seconds soaking you can try to gently bend the legs into new poses!

Step Four: Look at your fancy new spider-riders...just the spiders. Not sure what im going to do with these derpy looking goblins though =/
